Welcome to PASTELS (available at pastels.io). By browsing our site, placing custom orders, or interacting with our concierge via karan@pastels.io, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.

1. The Atelier Model & Bespoke Editions

PASTELS operates under an intentional, limited-batch and made-to-order paradigm. All pieces listed in our permanent editions are produced in restricted quantities using natural, unbleached, and botanically dyed materials. Slight textural variances and subtle hue undertones are organic hallmarks of natural textile craft.

2. Pricing, Invoicing & Orders

• Invoicing: Custom orders and atelier commissions are invoiced directly with detailed breakdowns of fabric composition, tailoring specifications, and delivery schedules.
• Currency & Taxes: Unless explicitly noted, pricing is listed in USD or EUR depending on client residence, exclusive of local customs duties and VAT where applicable.
• Order Confirmation: An order is finalized only upon receipt of formal written confirmation from our studio team (karan@pastels.io) and settlement of payment.

3. Shipping, Delivery & Customs

We dispatch worldwide via carbon-neutral express carriers (DHL Express / FedEx Priority).

• Dispatch Timelines: In-stock limited editions are fulfilled within 2–4 business days. Bespoke and made-to-order garments require 2–4 weeks for artisanal hand-tailoring.
• Customs & Import Duties: For international shipments outside our fulfillment center, import taxes or clearance charges are the responsibility of the recipient.

4. Returns, Alterations & Cancellations

• Limited Editions: Unworn, unwashed pieces with all original tags attached may be returned within 14 calendar days of delivery for studio credit or exchange.
• Made-to-Order & Bespoke Pieces: Garments crafted to individual measurements or personalized specifications cannot be returned; however, our studio offers complimentary sizing adjustments.
• Initiating Returns: Please email our studio at karan@pastels.io with your order reference before dispatching any parcel.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All creative works, garment silhouettes, editorial imagery, brand trademarks, logos, typography, and copy published on pastels.io are the exclusive intellectual property of PASTELS Studio. Any unauthorized commercial reproduction, imitation, or redistribution is strictly prohibited.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PASTELS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services or products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the price paid for the garment in dispute.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of international commercial trade and the jurisdiction of our registered studio headquarters. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
